Movement MRI Scope

Movement MRI is a branded, non-radiological movement and fitness assessment. It reviews observable movement, mobility, control, balance, strength, endurance, task tolerance, cue response, confidence, and recovery. It does not create medical images or diagnose disease or damaged tissue.

Interview and Meaningful Goals

The assessment begins with the activity the client wants back, the result they want to build, symptom behavior, relevant history, restrictions, current program, environment, and the reason the goal matters.

Observation and Testing

Depending on safety and relevance, the assessment may review gait, transitions, breathing and pressure, active and supported mobility, balance, motor control, strength, endurance, squat, hinge, step, push, pull, carry, rotation, and task-specific tolerance.

Modification and Immediate Retest

The assessor may change support, stance, grip, range, tempo, load, footwear, cue, or position and then repeat the task. A useful finding should change the plan, the measurement, or the need for referral.

Body Map and Report

The report begins with goals and strengths, then lists priority findings, uncertainties, referral needs, baseline measures, the first plan, and the reassessment date. Images or video are used only with consent.

What the Assessment Does Not Do

It does not diagnose an injury, replace imaging, prescribe medication, provide medical nutrition therapy, or guarantee pain relief. A score is a communication tool, not a medical label.
